Sewo needed a platform that could serve two distinct property categories — hotels and apartments — within a single, cohesive experience. The platform had to feel premium and trustworthy, with a smooth booking flow, real-time communication tools, and a standout 3D virtual tour feature that would differentiate it in a competitive real estate market.
Challenge
Real estate platforms live and die by trust and ease of use. Users making booking or rental decisions need confidence — in the accuracy of property information, the security of their personal data, and the reliability of the checkout process. Building a platform that delivered all of that while also offering an immersive 3D property exploration experience across both desktop and mobile was the central challenge.
Solution
We built a fully responsive platform with an intuitive property dashboard giving users instant access to key information about hotels and apartments. A custom 3D virtual tour feature was integrated directly into property listings, allowing users to explore spaces interactively from any device. The checkout flow was designed for speed and clarity, minimizing friction from browsing to confirmed booking. A built-in chat feature enabled real-time communication between users and property hosts or support teams.
Approach
The design process was anchored in understanding how different types of users — leisure travelers, long-term renters, and property managers — interact with real estate platforms and where they lose confidence or drop off. Privacy and security considerations were built into the design from the start, not added as an afterthought. Usability testing and iterative refinement across both desktop and mobile ensured the experience remained consistent and polished regardless of how users accessed the platform.
