LionWheel needed a robust, scalable application that could serve businesses across a wide range of industries without requiring technical expertise to operate. The platform had to handle complex logistics workflows — multi-stop route optimization, live driver tracking, automated customer notifications — while remaining fast and easy to use for both dispatchers and drivers in the field.
Challenge
Logistics is inherently complex. The platform needed to support a wide variety of business types simultaneously — food delivery, retail, wholesale distribution, healthcare, and more — each with different operational requirements. Building a system flexible enough to serve all of them without becoming bloated or difficult to navigate was the central engineering challenge.
Solution
We built a full-stack delivery management platform with a web dashboard for operations teams and a dedicated mobile app for drivers. The system handles AI-powered route optimization, real-time GPS tracking, automated SMS and WhatsApp notifications to customers, barcode scanning, proof of delivery (photos and signatures), predictive ETAs, and 100+ third-party integrations including Shopify, SAP, WooCommerce, and Google Sheets.
Approach
The platform was designed around two distinct user experiences — the dispatcher managing operations from the web dashboard, and the driver executing deliveries through the mobile app. Each interface was built to minimize friction for its specific context: fast bulk route planning for dispatchers, clear turn-by-turn navigation and simple status updates for drivers. Extensive integration capabilities were built in from the start to ensure LionWheel could slot into any existing business tech stack without disruption.
